FAQs
-
All athletes train 2 times per week. The specific days and times depend on your athlete’s team placement. RISE builds teams by skill level and experience first (age second) so players train in the right environment and develop faster. Because of this, we cannot confirm exact practice times until we evaluate your athlete and place them on the appropriate roster.
Typical practice window:
Monday–Friday 5:00pm–8:15pm
Sessions are typically 60–65 minutes
Typical time-slot pattern (example):
Younger groups often train earlier (ex: 8/9s at 5:00pm)
Older groups often train later (ex: 13/14s & High School at 7:00–8:00pm)
Other ages fall in between
This is our usual structure, but exact times vary by season and roster placement. Important note: Not all athletes of the same age train together.
For example, an advanced 14-year-old may train with the High School group, while a beginner 14-year-old may train with the 13/14 group.
✅ Once your athlete is evaluated and rostered, you will receive the full season practice schedule up front.

We offer two types of games:
1) In-House 4v4 Games (RISE Gym)
These are RISE teams playing RISE teams (including occasional inner-squad games where one team is split into two groups).
No additional fee
No spectator fee
Typically held Saturdays from 9:00am–4:00pm
Younger teams play earlier, older teams play later
Example game-day flow (times may vary week to week):
9:00am — 8/9s
10:00am — 10/11s
11:00am — 12/13s
12:00pm — 14/15s
1:00pm — 16/17s
We do not run 4v4 on holiday weekends.
2) Tournament Games (Optional Add-On)
Tournaments are designed for intermediate to advanced competition, but we offer opportunities to our athletes whenever tournaments are available.
Games may occur Friday evening, Saturday, and/or Sunday
Teams typically play 3–5 games
Games are usually about 1 hour
Tournament schedules are released by the host, often the week of the event, so we cannot guarantee exact game times in advance
Tournament fee applies
Most tournaments also charge spectator admission fees
✅ Tournaments are optional (not required). They’re an add-on for athletes who want a more competitive game environment.
